About the Linear Personal Emergency Reporting System
The PERS-2400 is a UL listed
medical alarm. When the button is pushed on the unit, bracelet, or
pendant, a signal is immediately sent to the central monitoring station.
The unit comes to the customer fully programmed and ready for use with
voice capability (unless not desired) and back-up battery. The
PERS-2400 plugs in similar to a telephone answering machine, 
and
will not
monopolize the phone jack. Simply plug your existing phone into the PERS
unit, and the unit in to the wall jack. Both the unit and your existing phone are then
operational.
The system has inactivity reporting and fire reporting options through the use of a
motion detector and smoke detector.

With a signed one year (not 3 year!) agreement of only $24.00 a month for monitoring.
Month to month thereafter.
Optional motion detector for inactivity reporting: $125.00.

Monitoring
Our central monitoring station is UL listed for both fire and burglary. The parent company was founded in July 1973, and today serves thousands of customers through versatile computerized systems. The customer specifies the order in which persons are to be notified of an emergency. The central station immediately refers to the call list and dispatches the appropriate help. For the PERS unit, the use of two-way voice allows direct communication between a central station operator and the customer.
Our monitoring station's triple–redundant power system provides fail–safe protection to our clients at all times. Two uninterruptible power supply systems by Best Ferrups provide standby power. In addition, a 75,000 Watt natural gas Genset generator by Onan powered by a Ford LSG 8 cylinder engine provides power in the event of an electrical outage.
